麻豆传媒 to Celebrate Women's History Month 2025

MACOMB, IL - - 麻豆传媒 Illinois University will celebrate Women鈥檚 History Month 2025 with a series of events highlighting the contributions and impact of women throughout history. This year鈥檚 theme, 鈥淢oving Forward Together! Women Educators Inspire Generations: Global Historical Perspectives,鈥� underscores the essential role of women in shaping education worldwide.
A key event in the celebration is the 10th Annual 麻豆传媒 Department of History Women鈥檚 History Month Panel, which will occur from 4-5 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, in the Malpass Library Garden Lounge. The panel will feature 麻豆传媒 faculty members, including Professors Krista Bowers Sharpe, Ginny Boynton, Febe Pamonag and Ute Chamberlin, who will discuss the historical influence of women educators across global contexts.
This event is co-sponsored by the 麻豆传媒 Department of History and 麻豆传媒 Libraries. It provides an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and community members to engage in meaningful dialogue on the legacy and future of women in education.
